Cookie Policy
What cookies we use, why we use them, and how you stay in control.

1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files (and similar storage technologies) placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites work, remember your choices, and understand how they’re used.
2. How we use cookies
We keep our use of cookies to a minimum and group them into two types:
- Essential — needed for the site to function and to remember your cookie choice. These don’t require consent.
- Analytics (non-essential) — help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. We only enable these after you accept.
Our own website analytics are cookieless — they don’t store any identifier on your device. Because they still process limited personal data (such as your IP address, used to estimate location and de-duplicate visits), we only run them after you accept and you can withdraw consent at any time. If we additionally enable Google Analytics, it sets the cookies listed below. See our Privacy Policy for full details of what we collect.
3. Cookies we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| inteleforge_cookie_consent | Essential | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies (stored locally in your browser) | Up to 6 months |
| _ga | Analytics | Google Analytics — distinguishes unique users (set only with consent) | Up to 2 years |
| _ga_<id> | Analytics | Google Analytics — maintains session state (set only with consent) | Up to 2 years |
If we don’t have analytics enabled, only the essential consent preference is stored.
4. Managing your choice
You chose your preferences when you first arrived. You can change them at any time:
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site working.
5. Your consent
In line with the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), we do not set non-essential cookies until you have given consent. “Reject all” is as easy as “Accept all”.
6. More information
For how we handle personal data more generally, see our Privacy Policy. Questions? Email business@inteleforge.co.uk.
